I was meeting my sister at the Nephrologist.  We got as far as the lobby and I was ahead of her and realized I needed to bring her closer to the elevator.  I turned and tripped over a threshold that was coming up off the floor (and not lifting my foot high enough) and did a complete faceplant on the floor.  Liz helped me up as much as she could.  I ( Read more... )

Today was pretty much what I expected. We did our normal routine and around 8 I went out and cleaned the car off from last night’s snowfall. It wasn’t much but I did manage to put the ice melt out last night before going to bed. It didn’t take long to clean off and I was on my way to North Haven for the Bone Density test.

Tonight was supposed to be the Jonathan Law HS Senior awards night. Unfortunately the Corona Virus Pandemic but a crimp in that and the city were shut down. I was quite surprised to get a second email asking if we as the DTC were still going to present the scholarship. I have been back to work two days now and have been very busy. Guardian Angel did a pretty good job while I was away. Just that now I got everything that she wasn’t able to get done. I managed to get up at 5:30 this morning and get the things I wanted done taken care off all before leaving the house at 7:05.  I had my infamous to do list and there were several things on it that needed to be done.  For the most part more than half was done today.  THe only thing that broke my heart was seeing Sky looking out from the living room ( Read more... )

Liz was able to get me an appointment with her pulmonary doctor for 10:30 this morning.  She warned that it may be a long day for it. They are squeezing me and it may take all morning.  She is going to stay with me until she has to take N to his Dr. Appt.

Still trying to deal with the family drama issue.  I haven’t written the email to big brother yet.  I was getting tired and didn’t want to deal with it.  Maybe tomorrow.

I have doctor’s appointments and meetings for the rest of the week and a fun night Friday night.  so that should be an upbeat time.
